Bibio - Mind Bokeh (2011)

Bibio's breakthrough album, Ambivalence Avenue, thrust him into popularity with his amazing quality of combining hit roots of deep folk with electronic sampling and dj-ing. After this release had a great critical response, The Apple and the Tooth, his fifth full length, was released later that year with a dash of new songs and some great remixes of most of Ambivalence Avenue. Two years later, he completely redefines himself as an artist. Mind Bokeh, his sixth studio album, is describe as "a balance of the familiar and non familiar." As far as the meaning behind this goes, it is everything you would want from a Bibio album, but the extent of how far his musical ability goes is something that he still creates an entirely new sound. No matter what, you should listen to this album
