Following the break up of Canadian indie pop trio, The Unicorns, former band mates, Nick Thorburn and Jamie Thompson, started a new group called Islands. Their first record, titled Return to the Sea, kept some of the classic Unicorns playfulness and also added a deeper level where it felt like they were done just having fun, and were thinking more like musicians.
